Conversion of a former Methodist Chapel

2016

I was approached by a tutor and lecturer at the MSA to initially create a detailed structural model for a project involving the conversion of a chapel in rural Wales for residential use. The model originally visualised the roof truss alterations and the proposal for the insertion of a gallery level floor suspended from wall brackets within the void of the chapel. Subsequently the brief and model were further expanded to include the building envelope and allow renders to be created for planning purposes.
